The 3083 insert is a high-performance neoprene seal designed for use with both Cyclone WEF and SmartSeal WBC contact strips. Installed between the weatherboard and aluminium threshold plates, it creates a reliable sealing interface as part of a complete Cyclone or SmartSeal threshold system.
Manufactured from durable, flexible neoprene, the 3083 delivers effective weatherproofing, draught exclusion, acoustic insulation, and light containment at the base of doors. Its excellent compression and recovery properties help maintain consistent sealing performance over time, making it suitable for both internal and external applications.
Designed for easy installation and maintenance, the 3083 insert can be fitted into the threshold plate and replaced without removing the aluminium section, making it ideal for retrofit and refurbishment projects as well as new installations.
The 3083 is suitable for doors exposed to frequent use and varying environmental conditions, particularly where a weather-tight seal is essential.
