The Hurricane 4001 is a brush seal insert designed for use with Hurricane aluminium stop seal carriers. When installed as part of a Hurricane sealing system, it provides an effective solution for controlling air movement, light ingress, and minor sound transmission around windows and doors.
Manufactured with a high-quality, densely packed brush, the 4001 is well suited to applications where low resistance and smooth operation are essential. Its flexible brush filaments conform easily to the mating surface, accommodating minor variations in frame and sash alignment while maintaining continuous contact along the sealing line.
The 4001 is commonly specified for casement windows with cranked hinges and other openings where ease of operation is a priority. It is ideal for situations where draught control and light sealing are required without the higher compression forces associated with blade or bulb inserts.
